I hold a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the Jagiellonian University and a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research in collaboration with Uppsala University in Sweden. Since transitioning from academia in 2010, I have built extensive professional experience in global life sciences business development.

Career

 

My career began in a rapidly growing contract research organization, where I was responsible for establishing and expanding collaborations with major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies across the United States, Europe, and Israel. This role allowed me to combine scientific expertise with commercial strategy in a highly demanding international environment.

 

Subsequently, I joined a technology startup focused on the development of cutting-edge biophysical instrumentation. I was personally responsible for building and positioning the brand across Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, the Middle East, and India. My responsibilities included defining regional business strategies, recruiting and developing sales and application teams, opening local business units, and establishing a network of local distribution partners.

 

In the next phase of my professional journey, I took on the challenge of restructuring and repositioning a contract research organization. My role encompassed organizational transformation, portfolio development, market positioning, and international expansion within a highly competitive pharmaceutical and biotechnology landscape.
